HAWK Merlin2-Speed WDâ„¢Industrial17″ & 20″165/300 RPM

Merlin 2-Speed takes advantage of innovative engineering and modern design to set new records in production and user safety. The unique “Floating Head” WDTM Wheels Down handle carriage design provides 100% contact with the floor and steers the Merlin in forward and backward movement – unlike the side-to-side movements of swing buffers.
The Merlin  2-Speed draws 1/3 less amps than standard machines.  Strip and scrub floors at 165 RPM.  Buff and polish at 320 RPM. Power to drive diamond tools, Claw, Scraper and Orbitec tools.

•  1.5 HP 2-speed rectified DC motor
•  Hi-Lo 2-speed toggle switch mounted on side of motor
•  115V, 50/60 Hz power (230V optional)
•  50 ft., (12-3) 2-piece industrial power cord with cord lock

Drive System
•  Triple planetary XHD 11:1 helical cut industrial gears, drives brushes  and tools at 165 RPM or 300 RPM

Engineered Design
•  WDTM Wheels Down, 5 position pin-lock handle disassembles in 60 seconds for transport and storage
•  All steel construction with welded powder-coated frame
•  17” &  20” brush covers with 360 degree wrap-around bumper
•  Thumb-operated safety switch. Negative pressure on/off switch
•  Dual steel operating triggers
•  2” x 8” non-marking load bearing, ball bearing wheels
•  Includes 80# weight kit
•  Optional dust pickup kit – 17” and 20”
•  Optional 4 gallon solution tank (#A0001-Color4)
•  Optional 6 gallon solution tank kit (#SME-2QRBLK) includes solution tank, diamond pad driver and splash guard

Safety Features
•  Quiet operation – 62 dB (low speed) 69 dB (high speed). Meets GS42 requirements.
•  Built with UL / CUL listed components
