SHIPPING POLICY – CLEAN IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT

Our goal is to continually offer our top-quality products while helping our customers maximize value.  One way we do this is by extending cost-free shipping on a variety of products.  Some of the products we sell will clearly state “free shipping” under their description, regardless of the quantity you order.  In other cases, we’ll deduct the cost of shipping you your order when the total of your purchase meets or exceeds $800.00 of qualifying merchandise. “We pay the shipping on this product with $350 of qualifying items” When you purchase at least $350.00 worth of qualifying items, Clean it Like You Mean It will pay the shipping on that portion of your order—including any hazardous material fees that may apply!

 Clean It Like You Mean It reserves the right to choose the carrier when providing shipping discounts or free shipping. Other shipping methods are available by request and  Clean It Like You Mean It will charge the difference between our preferred method and requested an alternative

You’ll only be responsible for the shipping costs on items not eligible for this program. In addition to our everyday competitive shipping rates, the Free Shipping Program is another way  Clean It Like You Mean It tries to save you money!

Damage in Shipment

All claims for material damaged in shipment must be reported to the delivering carrier; UPS driver, truck driver, etc. Please retain the original carton as it is often needed as part of a claim settlement.


All orders are shipped via the best, most cost-effective method: either local carrier or UPS. Orders will be shipped via truck when the gross weight of your order makes the use of a common carrier more economical. UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air, or airship services are available to expedite rush orders. These special services will incur additional costs. When an order is shipped by truck, our traffic department negotiates with a number of trucking companies to ensure the most competitive ship rates available. Should you wish to have us use a specific trucking company, please let your account representative know at the time you place your order. That information can become a permanent part of your account file if you choose. Please be aware that specifying your own shipping carrier may result in higher shipping costs to you.  Clean It Like You Mean It reserves the right to choose the carrier when providing shipping discounts or free shipping. Other shipping methods are available by request and  Clean It Like You Mean It will charge the difference between our preferred method and requested an alternative.

This shipping policy only applies to orders shipped within the Contiguous U.S.

Hazardous Material Policy

UPS classifies some types of chemicals as “hazardous” for shipping purposes. UPS charges an additional $32.00 per package (ground) or $45.00 per package (air) for these items (subject to change without notice). The quantities we can ship vary according to the product. Therefore, if you use such an item regularly, it makes sense to order the maximum per package to avoid additional hazardous charges. Please note that certain hazardous items may not be shipped Next Day or Second Day Air, or may be shipped in limited quantities. Truck lines classify items the same way UPS does and generally apply such surcharges. On the free ship orders, the hazardous fee will still be collected. If you have any questions regarding this policy please call us at 1.800.400.9473 between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (CST) Mon-Fri.

Freight Carrier

When an item exceeds standard UPS or USPS delivery options because it is too large or heavy, we will ship using a freight carrier. Freight deliveries are made using a semi-trailer or box truck because of the delivered items being fastened to a pallet and requiring a forklift or pallet truck to transport on and off the truck. Lift gate service to our residential/commercial customers is available and needs to be identified during the checkout process. You should select lift gate service if you do not have a loading dock and forklift at your facility or residence to receive a pallet delivery.

 

Our freight carriers require a valid phone number for their driver to contact you to allow successful delivery of the heavy and/ or large shipments. They will contact you by phone prior to driving to your location to ensure you are available to receive your order. Not providing a valid number may result in delayed or failed shipments, as well as redelivery and/or storage fees.

All freight orders are F.O.B. shipping point. The sales transaction is completed at the time of pick up by the freight company. The buyer is responsible from the point of pick up for any fees resulting from unsuccessful or delayed delivery. We will do everything possible to obtain and provide accurate contact information to ensure delivery occurs as expected and without added expense to our client.


Pick Up at our facility Items that are marked “Store Pickup Not Available” are stocked in alternative warehousing facilities, not our regular in-store warehouses. These items are not available for in-store pickup and must be shipped directly to you. If you would like to pick up a portion of your order and have “Store Pickup Not Available” items shipped to you, please create a separate order for the “Store Pickup Not Available” items.
